School of active citizenship and participants

School of Active citizenship started in October 2008. School had 7 Modules (Free access to information, Participation of citizens, Spacial/Urban Planning , Parliament Monitoring, Conflict of Interest, SOS phone for citizens and strategic representation, Role of media in combating corruption), and Internship in MANS office. During the school, we had 13 volunteers – 4 lecturers and 6 assistants participated (all employed in MANS) and 3 journalist from weekly newspape.

Concept of classes and program of school
During the School participants had 10 classes and Intershep. Classes were organized once perEvery class lasted approximately 1h30min, with 1hour of theoretical part and 30 minutes of practical work.
In the first class, participants got basic information about MANS. During consensus workshop we came to basic expectations of participants from school which were grouped in 6 groups:
 To be informed on MANS work
 General knowledge about fields of MANS work, that I can practically apply
 To be included in solving public/social problems
 How to lead public campaign
 Technics of NGO sector in articulation of problems of citizens
 Making friendship
